About this artwork
The artwork "Blue Bobby" disclosed about the childhood of the artist. Among his fancy toys collection back then (which illustrated by the colourful strokes and shapes), he remembered that his favourite toy was really a normal soft blue plastic ball. From a child's perspective, a normal soft ball was nothing special to them. But to him, he treasured it and didn't lose any point of his sight. Till one day, his house caught fire. Jays is a contemporary artist from Singapore whose expressive, fluorescent-hued works explore rebellion, authenticity, and the imagination of childhood.
