Jean Fontan is an award-winning artist who has exhibited his works in the United States, Belgium, Japan, Germany, Switzerland, as well as his native France. The self-taught multi-medium artist paints memories of his early childhood, ‘elevating them to the rank of universal and timeless images’. In his creative process, Fontan employs acrylics in all its forms, lacquers, aerosols, heavy-bodied watercolors, and inks.
