Born March 20, 1976 in Phoenix (Arizona), and died July 20, 2017 in Palos Verdes Estates (California), is an American singer. He was the lead singer of the nu metal band Linkin Park, the band Dead by Sunrise which he founded and, from May 2013 to November 2015, the band Stone Temple Pilots.
