I leave the village of Gavarnie, on my right, on foot,
and I head towards the state forest of the same name,
which is located east of the torrent and the cirque. The magnificent
Bourlic waterfall is inside the Installation
Pine-bearing, mixed with beech and a few others
essences. During the hiking trail, it appears
suddenly, perhaps predictable thanks to its muffled roar of distant torrential flow, when
We haven't yet reached the vicinity… of the falls.
bewitched by the roar of the water and the foaming meanders
of power and rage that rush in, sometimes forming residual pools before the next descent.
