About this artwork
Valentine Square
oil on paper
30 x 21 cm
I wanted to capture the fleeting essence of an urban scene, full of life and mystery. The contrast between the pencil lines and the oil touches expresses the tension between gentleness and agitation. This work invites us to feel the vibrant energy of the city, where each character carries their own story, like a living breath at the heart of expressionism.
