About this artwork
A quiet interplay of dissolution and compression, carried by a subtle, almost weightless movement.
Subtle transitions of light and color open up a space that does not reveal itself immediately, but unfolds slowly – like a horizon disappearing into the haze.
The depth in the lower area acts as a silent counterweight to the airy expanse above, giving the work a calm, almost meditative tension.
“The silence beneath” is an invitation to contemplation… – a moment between visibility and feeling, between presence and that which eludes us.
For me, painting is like breathing. I never learned it—I've just always done it. Art has been with me for as long as I can remember. It's my language, my refuge, my innermost home.
I don't paint because I want to. I paint because I have to. Because colors tell me what words can't. Because every brushstroke carries a piece of my soul.
My works emerge intuitively, in the moment—raw, honest, and full of emotion. I work with acrylics and oil pastels, often on large canvases, because my emotions need space. I love the unpredictable, the spontaneous, the authentic.
My greatest hope is that my art touches people. That it resonates with something in other people—a thought, a memory, a feeling. If that succeeds, then my painting has found its way. And so have I.
