About this artwork
The air may not be visible, but you feel the swirling wind all the more intensely. I tried to capture that in vibrant shades of blue.
When flying in a helicopter, it's important to always be aware of wind turbulence. That was the inspiration for these linocut prints.
The passe-partout, which complements the artwork, serves as the support for the piece and is made by me. The picture frame, of inexpensive quality and which does not affect the price… of the artwork, is included free of charge.

Jeannine Meyer works primarily with acrylics, gouache, watercolors, and linocuts, as well as colored pencils and graphite pencils. Her artistic foundation is shaped by training as an architectural drafter and studies in industrial design at art school. She combines photorealistic illusion with abstract, vibrant color fields, experimenting with layering and printing techniques to create her unique pieces. Her works invite free interpretation and convey a joy of life as well as a poetic appreciation of hidden beauty in the everyday.
