About this artwork
This is one of the artist's most minimalist masks. Relying on the complex recycled auto parts to carry the mask. The addition of metal table leg mounts for the eyes continues the minimalism. The artist chose black and white to bring out the patterns in the face. A wall sculpture, YETI is urban and post-industrial.

Jeff Mann is an award-winning sculptor based in Canada whose works have been exhibited both nationally and in the United States. He describes his intuitive based artistic process as eschewing narrative or representation and being environmentally based. Unlike abstract or intuitive art, Mann's work often centers around the car and computers, which he believes define our culture. His diverse compositions are created using a variety of materials which include steel and aluminum.
