About this artwork

« Beauty and harmony are vital in our lives. They nourish us as we experience great artworks. My challenge is to distill and convey what's inspired me clearly and harmoniously. »
Jeffrey Dean is an award-winning American sculptor whose works are deeply rooted in nature. Whether they are realistic or organic abstract, he enjoys incorporating narratives into some of his compositions. Dean utilizes techniques he has developed over the past thirty years in the creation of single and multi-layered metal and wood wall art. The interplay on the metal’s surface of variations in natural and artificial lighting gives them a range of characteristics not found in art made with other materials.
