About this artwork

In creating this piece, I explored the delicate balance between chaos and tranquility. I had been inspired by the work of artist, Cy Twombly, and I wanted to create a piece as a thank you to him for sharing his work with the world. The abstract layers of acrylic and graphite are very reminiscent of his past works. Through textured strokes and a muted palette, I aimed to evoke a sense of contemplation and depth, inviting viewers into a personal journey… of gratitude, introspection and discovery. This painting is a vibrant testament to the complexities of existence, designed to bring a profound, reflective energy into any space.
