Jen Dacota
United States
« The "gift of creativity" and the desire for self-expression are the most valuable gifts I have received from my stroke and I challenge myself with every painting I create. »
Jen Dacota is an artist based in the United States whose paintings have been featured in solo and group exhibitions nationally. Having suffered a stroke fifteen years ago that impaired her vision, she feels that painting every day has truly helped her heal both physically and emotionally. Dacota's distinctive abstract compositions are created intuitively in multiple layers with mixed media.
