In this piece, I used acrylics, sand, natural earth pigments and spray to create a multi-dimensional painting that captures a turbulent, yet hopeful, beginning. The cracks and textures symbolise transformation, while soft earth tones echo a calm beneath chaos.

Jenna has been painting using acrylics and mixed media since 2020. Physical movement is a big part of her creation process, with each movement guiding the almost meditative process from one phase to the next. In order to create her signature textures, Jenna uses her own sand-based texture pastes, which she mixes to suit her needs. This way, each work of art comes out totally unique.
