About this artwork
In this piece, I've captured the serene whisper of dawn, blending soft, expansive hues to evoke a sense of calm and renewal. The subtle interplay of cream, blush, and hints of sky blue mirrors the gentle awakening of the sky. Each stroke is a breath, inviting introspection and peace, perfect for bringing a tranquil yet uplifting energy into any living space.
Dedicated to that moment before the sky turns and the day begins. Made with layers of translucent… oil in warm golden yellows, crimson, celestial blue, white, and violet. A delicate, subtle, yet intricate painting made for stillness and a deep breath.
This painting is mounted in a simple white elegant natural wood floater frame. It measures 85 x 85 x 4 cm framed.

« My paintings are an ode to life, to becoming, and to majesty. They are a reminder to take a moment to release the trappings of the mundane, to be still. »

There is a poetry in the natural world, a lyrical beauty and power. My work is a meditation on my own connection to the majesty of the natural world. I am a recent cancer survivor, and my latest body of work reflects the light I sought at the end of the tunnel, the light I capture from the natural world and transmute into my paintings. My work is an expression of my own will to thrive and live, even through the most intense suffering.
My paintings have been exhibited in Europe and the USA, and are part of private collections in 18 countries.
I live for half the year in the mountains of northern Italy, and for the other half in the Colorado Rockies.
My experience defeating breast cancer is the driving force behind my body of work this year. The power of nature is the power of life.
