"Tempest" is a large warm sunset abstract landscape painting. This painting was made in the high Rockies of Colorado in the late autumn, when the winds roll through the sky with the coming of winter. It is a dramatic, dynamic expression of the forces of nature. The brushwork washes over the canvas in a windswept gesture.
