About this artwork
"The Temple" is a glorious creation dedicated to the divine temple that is nature. It is lush, living, reminiscent of spring growth. the palette includes every green, rose, yellow, violet, gold, and umber. It is a flowing, expressionist interpretation of the wild energy of growth in the spring. A gorgeous, dramatic, musical painting.
Through the interplay of swirling hues and textured layers in oils, I captured an ethereal dance between light and… energy. It's a visual symphony of emotion, a semi-abstract realm where each stroke is a whisper of my innermost thoughts. This painting is more than art; it's a profound journey that will infuse any space with its luminous, transcendent energy.

« My paintings are an ode to life, to becoming, and to majesty. They are a reminder to take a moment to release the trappings of the mundane, to be still. »

There is a poetry in the natural world, a lyrical beauty and power. My work is a meditation on my own connection to the majesty of the natural world. I am a recent cancer survivor, and my latest body of work reflects the light I sought at the end of the tunnel, the light I capture from the natural world and transmute into my paintings. My work is an expression of my own will to thrive and live, even through the most intense suffering.
My paintings have been exhibited in Europe and the USA, and are part of private collections in 18 countries.
I live for half the year in the mountains of northern Italy, and for the other half in the Colorado Rockies.
My experience defeating breast cancer is the driving force behind my body of work this year. The power of nature is the power of life.
