About this artwork
After a visit to iconic Whitechapel Gallery in London and the 2023 exhibit on female abstract artists, Jennifer's artwork became even more fluid and freely flowing. Her mark making, always spontaneous, became even faster and determined. The limited palette choice kept the artwork focused and vibrant. The energy is palpable while providing a measured dynamism to a white wall space.
« I exult in color and the effect it has on me, my work, and ultimately, my life. Color celebrates our emotional existence. »
Jennifer Moore-Tymowska is an award-winning artist based in France, Poland and Canada whose paintings have been exhibited internationally. She describes her works as being energetically expressive – marked by gestural abstraction and intense exploration of color. Moore-Tymowska's artistic practice is both rhythmic and intuitive, exploring the effects of colorful patterns. Her bold compositions are created with acrylics on both stretched and unstretched canvas. While large formats are her preferred choice, she also enjoys creating small format works that can be more spontaneously collected.
