About this artwork
"Monster" is part of a collection of custom electric guitars created in collaboration with artist Jerome Laureau and the Pistol Guitars workshop (France). This work is painted and varnished in its entirety except for the neck which is in roasted maple.
Be careful, this work is not just for the eyes, it also sounds ... yes it's a guitar!

Jerome Laureau is an experienced painter and draftsman based in France whose works have been exhibited nationally and in Switzerland. Creating in a distinctive expressionist style, what interests him in art is not theory nor messages, rather, it is aesthetic choices. In his painterly works and drawings, Laureau most often employs ink, acrylics, oils, pen, and felt on canvas or paper.
