About this artwork
Mixed technique on Fabriano 240grs paper. (Monotype, print, marker, ink and enamel)
E of M refers to the passage of time, and oblivion. The ability to recreate memories until they are modified and accepted as true.
Starting from a visual memory belonging to my childhood (a forest under the moonlight), its interpretation has been modified by the years, experience and the conditions of the chosen materials. It is the illusion of memory, both personally… and collectively. If time could be measured by memory, what place would oblivion occupy?

« Among graphic art, kinetic, optical, surreal, figurative, committed ... sometimes one or the other, sometimes all at once: l plasticize character, tolerance, and try to practice with intransigence. »
Jesús Tejedor is a painter and printmaker based in France whose works have been exhibited nationally, in Spain, Morocco, Mexico, Brazil, Italy, Germany, and Sudan. He is fascinated by different eras, beginning in pre-history, and explores their varying convictions of beauty and denial. Tejedor's compositions also portray interactions of micro-biology, the unit of habitat, reproduction, and "the mother". He describes his art as a commitment, not with an ideology, rather, with an attitude and the choice of a way of life.
