About this artwork
Jessica Puma began this triptych in 2015 and worked on it until almost 2019. The history of the triptych spans centuries and this triptych moves into the iconography of the Holy Trinity represented as three architectural expressions that can be displayed together or spaced apart. Puma's aim was to envision the Trinity in abstracted forms rather than within the context of the figure.

Jessica Puma, a painter nourished by her colorful Italian-American upbringing, harnesses an array of wet media techniques to make her pigments dance as paint. With a background marked by the canvases of Canalettos and the craftsmanship of builders, she weaves personal histories with architectural elements, her creations a testament to heritage and identity. Her works, visually fluid, navigate the symbiosis of stability and flux, reflecting the capricious nature of life's journey. In each stroke, Puma conjures a vivid emotional spectrum, inviting viewers into introspective odysseys of home, reflection, and metamorphosis.
