About this artwork
This is the artists expression of crowds, interpreted as a series of textured waves in stark colours. This piece went on to inspire similar pieces, (Approaching Critical, Hawking Radiation, and Sinkhole) which are all inspired by concepts in physics.

« Creativity is a path best explored the long way around. »
Jessica Stepushyn’s art was, and still is, driven by the need to socially isolate herself from “the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune”. The Canadian painter and sculptor’s compositions vary widely in their themes, from the concepts of particle and wave physics to geometry, color, and the subconscious. While Stepushyn ‘shuns realism’, she also isn’t averse to creating silly, generic, or superficial pieces. Her style, techniques, and mediums are in a constant state of evolution.
