After the success of the Llamas Serie, Jesús Valencia wanted to give a new air to his works. It began with the study of female torsos inspired in the ukranian artist Oleksandr Arjípenko.

Jesús Valencia is a sculptor with a background in silver and copper jewelry. Using lost wax casting techniques in copper and bronze, he creates abstract figures with anthropomorphic and animal touches. His pieces evoke the rescue of pre-Columbian art with a contemporary interpretation, imbued with a constant need for artistic revolution.
