About this artwork
The beautiful colors of Sunset can soothe the soul and lift our spirits at the same time. The amber glow of the sunset shines on the mountains and reflects colors of blue, grey, lavender, grey/green, rust and more. The use of both brushes and palette knives created this effect. The painting is ready to hang, and is signed on the front.
You will also receive from me a signed Certificate of Authenticity, listing the date the work was completed, where… it was painted (in this case it was Paris, France) and the materials used. The paints used are high quality professional paints and it is protected from UV damage with a professional spray varnish.

Jill Dowell is an artist based in France whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Belgium, Germany, Spain, and the United States. She cites color and rhythmic movement as aiding to harness the joy she feels when creating. Through her art, Dowell endeavors to share a personal experience that leaves a positive imprint. Her lyrical abstract compositions are often influenced by nature and translated through acrylics on paper and canvas.
