About this artwork
The beauty and mystery of the body. There is a certain ambiguity in most of my work, usually because I crop closely or leave out faces, this is important as it allows the viewer to create their own story. I really liked this pose, as it has a simplicity and geometric strength, but there are clues - what type of person has hands like this? Who wears jeans like this? Why stand like this? Why is he not fully dressed? What is the background?
