About this artwork
The artwork DP-1 is extremely important to me because I wanted to address the gaze of others, you know, that gaze that can sometimes limit or even imprison us. The woman painted at the center of the work is a powerful symbol, always linked to this gaze directed at us; she is the one who has the choice to free herself from it or remain a prisoner. On the back of the artwork is an important message that I hope will resonate with you when you read it.
