About this artwork
This is yet another painting that tries to explore another aspect of our humanity. I try to explore the restlessness that exists within all of us. Look at it closely. You will not find anything in it that does not move, break up and re-form. The colours used are also important because they are on the opposite side of the colour spectrum and continue this restless message. It is also a comforting painting because it shows that this restlessness creates…
something with emotional impact and has its own beauty. It reflects how beautiful our inner restlessness is and how it makes us who we are as people. It is not stressful, but helps us cope with our daily problems without us realising it. The size and colours of this painting will impact any room it is hung in. This is a painting with painted sides of 4 cm. You can hang it without a frame.

Hi, I’m Jim—great to meet you!
For me, painting is more than just putting color on a canvas—it’s about creating an emotional connection. I want my work to do more than just decorate a space; I want it to evoke a feeling, spark a memory, or inspire a sense of wonder. To achieve this, I focus on atmosphere, light, and movement. I use bold, expressive brushstrokes to bring energy to my work, while softer transitions create depth and mood. Color is also a key part of my process—deep blues can bring calm, fiery oranges ignite passion, and muted grays encourage quiet reflection.
I don’t just paint what I see—I paint what I feel. Every canvas tells a story, and I want the viewer to step into that moment and experience it for themselves. My goal is for my paintings to resonate with people on a personal level, drawing them in and leaving a lasting emotional impact long after they’ve looked away.
One question I often hear is: "Why don’t you charge more for your paintings?" The answer is simple. Would you want to write a book no one reads? Compose a song no one sings? Of course not. I want my art to be loved, displayed, and lived with. That’s why I keep my paintings affordable—so more people can experience and enjoy them.
Art is my passion, my way of expressing the world around me, and I hope my work brings as much joy to others as it does to me.
