Jiri Havlik is an experienced Czech painter who has exhibited his work in Czechia and the UK. His principal themes are women, society, nature and the hidden psychology and behaviour of people. He typically employs a combination of drawing and painting to compose his central series of modern nudes, and achieves an artistic aesthetic marked by a balance of the recognisable and unexpected, the seen and hidden.
