About this artwork
This painting was created as a quiet ritual.
I chose the number seven for its spiritual meaning, completion, balance, and inner truth. Every symbol appears exactly seven times, each repetition intentional and meditative, like counting breaths along a long path.
While painting, I wasn’t focused on the external world but on listening inward. The symbols emerged as echoes of memories, questions, and emotions, repeating until they settled. Green and… turquoise tones suggest healing and continuity, while the dots act as pulses of energy guiding the eye through the composition.
This work speaks about alignment and trust in repetition. It reflects the idea that growth doesn’t always come from change, but from returning to the same place with deeper awareness. 7 invites the viewer to slow down, breathe, and feel the rhythm beneath the surface.

My artistic name is Xueka and I'm an artist from Porto, Portugal. I currently live in Matosinhos. Born in 1980, I am both a sculptor and a painter.
