What I wanted to capture here is the timeless grace of the horse, magnified by the golden light that seems to spring from its mane. With acrylic and gilding, I instilled a vibrant and mysterious energy, between abstraction and reality. Joëlle Darmon is an award-winning artist based in France whose paintings have been exhibited nationally and internationally. Inspired by Fauvism and Expressionism, she describes her artistic quest as being nourished by the richness of landscapes, the sea, flora, and fauna. However, Joëlle Darmon's "aspirations" gravitate towards abstraction and semi-abstractism, where she finds themes connected to her sensitivity and creativity. Her works speak of hope, serenity, freedom, and the preservation of nature. Joëlle Darmon has received an I-CAC Certified Artist Rating Index, is listed on ARTPRICE, and has appeared in the dictionary of listed artists from the 15th century to the present day since 2022.
