This work in a small square format for its modernity is part of a series of 10 paintings reflecting an abstract vision of several landscapes: underwater, urban, spatial, nature.
Representing here a majestic waterfall flowing down a rock face, this cardboard canvas is framed in a 27X27cm glass box 6cm thick and painted with a knife using mixed techniques. Paintings with effects, acrylic, the work of the material are put in the spotlight, the colors… in shades of blue, parma are raised with gold leaf to accentuate the light and the magic that emerge from this picture !

Joëlle Darmon is an award-winning artist based in France whose paintings have been exhibited nationally and internationally. Inspired by Fauvism and Expressionism, she describes her artistic quest as being nourished by the richness of landscapes, the sea, flora, and fauna. However, Joëlle Darmon's "aspirations" gravitate towards abstraction and semi-abstractism, where she finds themes connected to her sensitivity and creativity. Her works speak of hope, serenity, freedom, and the preservation of nature. Joëlle Darmon has received an I-CAC Certified Artist Rating Index, is listed on ARTPRICE, and has appeared in the dictionary of listed artists from the 15th century to the present day since 2022.
