About this artwork
In this painting, I've embraced the dynamic essence of urban life in Paris where we were living at the time. The morning streets were abound with joggers seemingly ignoring the urban landscape they were inhabiting.. The bold colors and geometric shapes capture the vibrancy of Paris, while the jogger*s forward stride embodies movement and progression. My artistic vision merges realism with a semi-abstract flair, creating a bustling metropolitan atmosphere… that's both familiar and fresh. This piece is a passionate ode to the constant, unyielding pulse of the city—a visual rhythm set to inspire and energize any space it inhabits.
« My paintings are very personal and reflect whatever goes on in my life at the time. For me, it has been a life long journey into the soul. »

The painter and photographer is inspired by color, as well as the modern art movement in Europe in the early 20th century. Tuck’s works range from abstract to figurative, from realist to surrealist. She primarily creates using oil on canvas.
