About this artwork
In this abstract work, I explore the inner and universal journey toward love. Using the technique of Chromanarrativism, I fuse transparencies, layers, and contrasts to reflect the search, discovery, and fulfillment that love awakens in every human being. The warm tones and pastel hues convey harmony and hope, while the dynamic strokes evoke passion and a shared destiny. I paint from my own life experience, but I invite the viewer to recognize themselves…

Born in Austria in 1971, JOWU transformed his life into a work of art. After restoring an ancient castle, he found refuge and truth in painting. A self-taught artist with a solid background in realism, he developed Chromanarrativism: a style born of isolation, where the order of the Bauhaus merges with the intensity of Neo-expressionism, amplified by the narrative of color.
