Conceived 25 years ago and completed in the studio this year, the work spans a timeline that reveals: the question of fairness doesn't age—it repeats itself. The Asian-inspired Lady Justice appears as a damaged statue, caught between ideal form and real-world ineffectiveness. fails to serve people in reality. The missing arm represents an agency that is selectively distributed. Justice here appears not as equality, but as a staged performance that promises order while perpetuating inequality. The pedestal elevates the ideal while simultaneously revealing its immobility. The image poses the radical question of whether justice could ever exist independently of ownership, influence, and the power to interpret.
