Joanne Handler is an American artist whose paintings have been featured in exhibitions nationally. After working for years as a photographer, Handler decided to switch mediums and try her hand at painting. Through vibrant colors, she creates large abstract works on canvas using varied materials, from acrylic and oil to spray paint and charcoal. A recurrent theme in her work is her love of music; she names every painting after a song that has inspired her.
