Jocelyn Burke is an exciting Canadian painter who has primarily exhibited her work nationally. She paints to question and make record of her world - or at least her memory of it, such memories materializing as light, tactile, abstract paintings. Through her art, she records what she's experienced and translates that which cannot otherwise be defined. Burke's paintings ultimately convey nostalgia, balance, and a sense of mystery.
