An important part of Aboriginal culture is supporting and respecting our Elders. We acknowledge that they hold a wealth of information about our culture within them, and it’s important to keep that connection strong so that we can pass that knowledge down to future generations.
Especially during these unprecedented times, it’s imperative to check on our Elders and those who are vulnerable to see if there’s anything that they need help with.

Through her art, Jodie Freeman endeavors to give others hope for the future.
