About this artwork
This is the year for geometric forms. I started carving various stones, marble and granite to incorporate into a multi construction of round objects. As I carved each one, I had no idea of where I would stop. As I assembled the sculpture the law of gravity came into play and I had reached a limit as to how many spheres I could place into a stable sculpture. The result became Cercles d’influence
