About this artwork
The artwork is about man. Human condition. A portrait of man, of what it means to be a human being in the 21st century. The world, and of man in that world. Communication. Men. Women. It's about speaking, talking. It's about communication and non-communication, relationships, about being. Roles, poses. It's about togetherness, loneliness, about being lonely together, about talking, and talking past each other. About how rust never sleeps, about times…
of wear and tear. About screaming to be heard, about listening, non-listening.

« I'm interested in contradictions … Putting contradictory pieces together: colors, shapes that don't fit. Basically, that's what I do: I like putting things together; ugly things, broken, things that don't fit… »
