I depicted an old oak tree in my painting. I think old trees are like sculptures, they have something aesthetic and mystical about them at the same time. In my painting I tried to make the tree appear that way to the viewer. For the artist, old oak trees are witnesses to the times, often standing in the same place for centuries and resisting all external influences.
