With this work, I sought to capture the profound connection between two souls who share their own universe. Through meticulous realism in their gazes, I reveal the unique beauty of each face, while the semi-abstract intervention acts as a veil of invisible emotions. The "dripping" or color-filtering effect symbolizes the duality of being and how feelings—affection, mystery, and shared history—color our perception. They are not just faces; they are emotional maps. The title, "Just Friends," adds a layer of irony or subtle mystery, inviting the viewer to imagine the true depth of that bond.
