About this artwork
Like most people I imagine, I have always enjoyed the spring and the blossom we are blessed with at this time of year. I have attempted to capture this joyous feeling a few times in the past, with mixed success. I thought the subject might suit the circular format as I could concentrate purely on the foliage and not worry too much about the corners and I think it has worked out pretty well. It is certainly a very happy painting which will brighten…
up any wall.
I have used the rest of the canvas to frame the painting with complimentary colors and have had a simple frame made for it which is painted white. All very harmonious I think. In contrast to my larger work which need dismantling for transport, this one comes in a crate and it ready to hang.
