About this artwork
The Pillars of Creation, in the Eagle Nebula, is one of the most famous structures in the universe. At about 4 light years in length it is difficult to get one's mind around it. So I wanted to capture it using heavy body acrylics with an impressionistic rendering to show off the brilliant colors and magnificent cloud formations.
