« I aim for the viewer to find the symbolism in my work, whilst simultaneously forming their own narrative. »
The boundaries of painting excite John Lloyd. The U.K. based artist's work is characterized by a fusion of portraiture, personal passions, and subjects that intrigue him. Lloyd often explores subjects that include film, human identity, the human figure, and luxury living. Employing oils on canvas with contemporary techniques, he aims to convey his own perspective through an art form that has been done for centuries, portraiture.
