John Macaulay is a British contemporary artist born in Glasgow. He studied Printed Textile Design at the Glasgow School of Art followed by Mixed Media Textiles at the Royal College of Art. The skills learnt there helped him develop his painting practice, and he now focuses on painting figurative scenes of everyday life.
