About this artwork
This painting was worked up from a smaller painting completed on site (see photo) during a painting/camping trip with artist friends to Glen Davis in the beautiful Capertee Valley. The Valley, the widest enclosed valley in the world, is situated just north of Lithgow on the western edge of the Blue Mountains, NSW. It is an extremely popular location for artists and bird watchers.
