It's an invitation to pause and bask in the warmth of nature's embrace.

John Runnels, a history aficionado and lover of Impressionists, masters oil paints with a palette knife, evoking the rugged beauty of the Spanish Peaks. With vigorous palette knife strokes and a disdain for straight lines, he melds vibrant colors into bold abstract forms that capture the essence of mountainous landscapes and Aspen trees. His art, reflecting his moods, speaks of an intimate dance with nature, inviting viewers to feel the enveloping peace and wildness of the woods that surround him.
