About this artwork
This is a combination of custom mixing UV dry pigments in an acrylic base and printing with a random pattern. After squeegeeing UV ink through a blank screen I dripped random UV inks with a clear acrylic rod on top of the canvas. While the dripped inks are wet I dusted the inks with asphalt glass that are micro-spheres of clear glass. I cured the inks with a heat gun to make the glass embed itself permanently in the inks.
