About this artwork
This part of a new series where art and science merge together. I mix my own inks with different types of pigments. The UV inks are created using UV pigments that are mixed with an acrylic ink base. I apply phosphorus dry pigments on the canvas directly and by mixing the pigments in the acrylic-based inks. Finally, I add micro-spheres of glass in the UV inks. Depending on the light source different images appear. Natural light is colorful and…
the UV light transforms the painting in a stunning manner. When all light is removed the phosphorous pigments emit their own light. It is like three paintings on one canvas.

« I see the world as a symphony of color and pattern and the visual interpretations I create are a lasting impression of what I see. »
