About this artwork
This is an expressionistic painting. I didn't start with an idea. I did start with four colours in mind, and then it seemed like the painting painted itself. I do not deny that the finished work is very reminiscent of a ocean wave, but above all it invokes in me a sense of the power and beauty of nature.
