U.K. painter and mixed media artist John Worth began his artistic career in photography before switching to painting much later in life. Worth paints on wood panels, layering acrylics and oils with found materials such as egg shells, canvas, and other textiles. He then sands these coats back, revealing new patterns among the layers. Worth's abstract pieces have a natural musicality, he works in earth tones to created highly textured, rhythmic pieces.
