About this artwork
In this watercolor painting titled "African Beauty," I attempted to capture the grace and strength of female figures. I chose warm earth tones such as various browns, reds, and oranges to highlight the bodies, as well as accents of bright yellow and cool blue in the background to create contrast. I depicted the figures in a semi-abstract style to emphasize the essence of their forms. I utilized the transparent and fluid qualities of watercolor painting… to give the work a delicate yet powerful aura. This artwork will bring vibrancy and flair to any home.
As an artist, I am always looking for dialogue, for the emotional connection that arises between me, my work, and you as the viewer.
